THINGS TO DO IN SEVILLE



The walk through the Jewish quarter and the Districts of Santa Cruz which have all the quaint narrow streets and is a very picturesque area. One can glimpse the Giralda from over all the roof tops.
One can spend their Sunday mornings visiting the Alameda de Hercules where there are markets to stroll around and there also a carnival here and is a popular meeting place.
Triana was the home of the Reales Almonas soap factory which produced the most famous soap in the world. Pottery making was also a great industry in this area. Great streets in this part of the city are the San Jacinto, Betis, Pureza and Castilla.

Although a little spread out, the attractions on Isla de la Cartuja are the El Alamillo park which has great nature trails, the Centro de Alto Rendimiento where you can hire a rowing boat or canoe and chill out on its waters or one can pay a visit to the prestigious Olympic stadium which is also here.
The monastery on Isla de la Cartuja is now an art exhibition which recently commemorated the 400 birthday of Vel zquez.
